CSI focuses on Greater China investment banking and securities brokerage businesses. We leverage on the experience and expertise of our CSI team as well as the leading position of CITIC Securities in Mainland China's investment banking industry. With a unique and integrated cross-border equities business platform, CSI has an important mission of integrating the domestic and overseas equities businesses of the CITIC Group. With strong know-how and expertise of world-class finance professionals and backed by the vast resources and extensive business network of CITIC Securities, CSI has emerged as a premium provider of high quality and timely financial services in the areas of investment banking, brokerage and equity research.
The financial and capital markets around the world are increasingly becoming more globalized and integrated. Our parent company, CITIC Securities, has therefore decided to increase the degree of internationalization of its various business lines in order to strengthen its competitive position against this global tide.
Reflecting an enhanced business platform and strategy, in March 2007, CSI adopted its current name and further strengthened its resources and operations to accommodate CITIC Securities' strategic vision - transforming into a leading international investment bank focusing on the China financial and capital markets.
