Further to Clause 13 of Appendix I in our Addendum in relation to the China Stock Connect dated September 2017 (the “China Connect Terms”), please be reminded that our Company is only allowed to provide funds or margin financing arrangements for clients placing orders for securities which are determined to be eligible for margin trading (“Eligible Margin Trading Securities”). If you are placing orders for securities which are not Eligible Margin Trading Securities, please ensure sufficient cleared funds are maintained in your accounts with us on trade date before placing such orders.  If there are insufficient cleared funds, pursuant to our terms and conditions for securities trading and margin financing, we shall, in our absolute discretion sell, realize, liquidate or otherwise dispose of, as appropriate, such securities in your account with us.
