 Notice of Change to SMS Sender ID

Dear Customer,

CITIC Securities Brokerage (HK) Limited (“CSBHK”) has participated in the SMS Sender Registration Scheme ("Scheme") launched by the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong. This scheme aims to help the public verify the identities of SMS senders, thereby combatting deception cases. All registered sender names will begin with prefix "#".

Starting from September 2, 2025, the sender name displayed for short messages sent to our Hong Kong local mobile service users will be shown as "#CSIWM," while the display for other non-Hong Kong local mobile service users will remain unchanged. If you are a Hong Kong local mobile service user and receive a short message in the future that does not start with the “#” symbol, it is likely to be a phishing or fake message. To protect your interests, even if the sender appears as "#CSIWM," we advise you to stay vigilant. Under no circumstances should you disclose personal information, account details, transfer money, or click on links within messages from unverified sources to avoid potential losses.

We kindly remind all investors to pay special attention to the following:

• CSBHK has only one official website: www.citics.com.hk and there are no other authorized websites.
• If you need to download our mobile application (APP), please do so from the App Store (for iOS) and Google Play (for Android), or go to the "Download/Login" section on our official website.
• If you are in doubt of the received call or message, please verify with us before responding. You may contact our Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2237 9338 / 400 818 0338 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), or email us at [email protected].
• Please note that the "Scheme" doesn’t apply to two-way SMS which requires customers’ reply; or local subscribers of Single-Card-Multiple-Numbers / One-Card-Two-Numbers mobile service provided by non-Hong Kong operators.
